A COVID-19 All-Day Virtual Mini-Hack

August 3, 2020 - 8am to 8pm

Join us as we bring together pediatric nurses, caregivers, data scientists, business leaders, computer science & nursing students, entrepreneurs and industry leaders for a day of collaboration. Participants are encouraged to bring a problem forward that they have identified that was magnified by the COVID-19 pandemic from the following categories:

- School Reintegration
- Work Reintegration/Remote Work
- Pediatric Mental Health
- Telenursing/Telemedicine/Remote Care
- Ensuring Families Feel Safe to Seek Care
- Ensuring Healthcare Workers Feel Safe to Provide Care
 

During the event you will be able to join a team, work together to come up with a solution, make a prototype and pitch a solution to the challenges you've identified since COVID-19!

Benefits: By particpating this event you will learn how to apply design thinking concepts to solve real life issues. Interact with innovation leaders and mentors and get hands on practice pitching your ideas.  In addition, there are potential opportunities for commercialization which includes the potential sharing of net-profit!
