Dr. Christine King, Assistant Professor of Teaching, Department of Biomedical Engineering, UCI Dr. Christine King is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Biomedical Engineering at UC Irvine. She received her BS and MS from Manhattan College in Mechanical Engineering and her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine, where she developed brain-computer interface systems for neurorehabilitation. She was a post-doctorate in the Wireless Health Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles, and a research manager in the Center for SMART Health, where she focused on wireless health monitoring for stroke and pediatric asthma. Her current research is on engineering education, specializing in pedagogy strategies to promote learning in design-build-test courses, including senior design, computer science programming, and computer-aided-design courses. |

Loraine Migliori is VP of Investor Relations at RedCrow Loraine Migliori is VP of Investor Relations at RedCrow, a web-based direct investment platform that connects financial and human capital with healthcare start-ups. Founded in 2016, RedCrow’s mission is to level the investment playing field by enabling both accredited as well as unaccredited investors access to early-stage investment opportunities in the healthcare space. Additionally, RedCrow provides healthcare startups with crowd-sourced feedback and professional insights from our Scientific and Business Advisors, ranging from specialists at the Cleveland Clinic to the Gates Foundation, to help them hone their fundraising message.Prior to joining RedCrow, Loraine worked in middle market mergers and acquisitions, providing extensive due diligence and assisting entrepreneurs in achieving successful exits.

Terence Sanger, Director Pediatric Movement Disorders Program & Chief Scientific Officer, CHOC Children's Dr. Sanger is responsible for accelerating CHOC’s research efforts including the growth and development of CHOC’s team of researchers. He oversees research operations and serve as CHOC’s institutional official for research, with responsibility for ensuring the health, safety and responsible conduct of research at the health system. In addition, Dr. Sanger is part of CHOC’s medical staff and is tenured faculty and vice chair for research in the department of pediatrics at UC Irvine, further strengthening the institutions’ affiliation. |

Anne Tanner, Executive Director, Acute Care Services, CHOC Children's Anne Tanner, MN, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE, serves as the Executive Director, Acute Care Services, a division of Patient Care Services at CHOC Children’s Hospital, Orange. Anne is responsible for the clinical operations and nursing practice within Patient Care Services Nursing Administration and Ancillary departments including the Medical, Medical Specialties and Neuroscience inpatient units, the staffing office, nursing supervisors, patient placement center, float pool, internal transport, interpreter services, child life services, patient care services payroll, along with the Skin, Wound and Ostomy (SWOT) Team and Nursing Research and Innovation programs. Anne also collaboratively provides nursing practice oversight for the Nurse Practitioners. |

Hadar Ziv, Associate Professor of Teaching, Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences, UCI Hadar Ziv is an Associate Professor of Teaching in the Informatics Department at the Donald School of Information and Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine. His research interests are in software engineering, Agile and SCRUM methodologies, privacy and security, and computer science and software engineering education. He has many years experience in both computer-science education and practical software development. He has worked as consultant for several organizations wishing to include use cases, requirements engineering, object-oriented analysis and design with UML, and corresponding test strategies in their software-development practices. Professor Ziv teaches the Capstone software-project class for Informatics seniors, where students employ many of the same tools and methods to develop web-based and mobile applications for real customers. He was awarded UC Irvine’s Excellence in Teaching award in 2003. He received his Ph.D. in 1997 from UC Irvine. |
